FAQ

Asked &
answered.

Everything renters ask before booking — prices, kit, guests, files. Still curious?

How much does it cost to hire a podcast studio in Leeds?

WorkshopOne membership is £250 per month and includes 8 studio hours — around £31 an hour, where the Leeds average is closer to £72. A full 8-hour day is £600 flat, no subscription required.

What's included in the price?

Everything in the room: the RØDECaster Video and RØDECaster Pro II console, four Shure MV7+ broadcast microphones, multi-camera video and automatic file delivery. No hidden fees and no overtime ambushes — you book the time, you get the whole studio.

Do I need my own equipment or an engineer?

No. The room is pre-configured before you arrive — walk in, sit down, press record. The studio runs itself, so there's no engineer to pay and nothing to set up.

How many people can I record with?

Four mic'd seats — host plus three guests — each on a dedicated Shure MV7+ broadcast microphone.

Do you record video as well as audio?

Yes. Broadcast cameras are mixed live through the RØDECaster Video, so your session is captured as video and audio together in one clean file.

How do I get my files after the session?

They deliver themselves. When you stop recording, your combined video and audio uploads to your WorkshopOne dashboard automatically — download it any time for 30 days.

Where is the studio?

In Leeds, West Yorkshire. The exact address and arrival instructions come with your booking confirmation.

Can I book a full day?

Yes — the £600 day pass gives you the whole studio for a full 8-hour day with no subscription. Members book sessions from 2 hours using their monthly allowance.
